BAVA

This was the first project I did while studying IPO. The assignment was to design a lamp for the company BAVA.

I chose to design a table lamp suitable for any size table. In addition, I wanted the lamp to have an industrial and modern look.

In the end, I created a design that resembles the mechanism of a scissor elevator. The lamp can be made longer or shorter by folding it in or out.

The biggest challenge was to route the power cables from the outer arms to the center without them being visible. After much trial and error, I found a solution: a crescent-shaped slot was added at the contact points, neatly hiding the cables in any position.
